Parts, not labor
Coverage depends on the unit. For example, a 5/15-year warranty covers five years on the complete unit’s parts and fifteen years on the compressor, excluding labor. This example is not a warranty promise for every product; confirm the specific manufacturer’s terms before purchasing.

Your contractor should diagnose the failure and identify the required part before contacting Genie. Confirm the failed component rather than assuming multiple parts need replacement.
